For our second week of inspirational posts we decided to share some of our favourite children's book illustrators. Some of the children's books we are inspired by have illustrations that are entirely digital, but we also love illustrators that work traditionally with either cutting and sticking collages or drawing and colouring with pencils and paints.

Inspiration; Circus Dreams.
Introducing a new weekly post for our blog - a little peek at a few of the things that are currently inspiring the Pencils, Paper, Scissors girls. Since we have just sent our colouring book off to be printed, it seemed apt to focus our first inspiration post on some of the images that inspired our circus-themed illustrations.
Big tops, candy colours, wild animals, hazy summers. Which are your favourites?

A sneak peek...
Over the past few months, the Pencil Paper Scissors' girls have been working away on our first collaborative project - a circus-themed colouring book! We've all been inspired by red and white stripes, circus animals and clowns, and now the book is all finished, and is finally about to be printed - Yay!
So in anticipation (and because we're just a little bit excited!) we are now ready to give you a little sneak peek of some of our work. Above you can see the front cover of our colouring book, and below are a few teasers of some of the images that make up the colouring pages inside.
